The Children's Cancer Fund 12th Annual Walk
On Saturday, October 3, 2009 the Children's Cancer Fund will hold its twelfth Annual Walk at FDR State park.
The event registration begins at 9 AM with the Walk send-off at 10 AM. Participants are encouraged to form teams
to raise money that funds pediatric cancer research, and improves the quality of life for children fighting cancer
at the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital through the CCF sponsored patient support services.
Last year, CCF raised over $100,000 through the CCF Annual Walk. In 2009, we hope to increase both the number
of teams attending the event and our fundraising goal. Let's continue to make a difference and improve the cure
rate for all children with cancer.

How can you help?
- Register your Team Online
- Set a TEAM Fundraising objective and create your team donation page
- Recruit as many team members as possible
- Individuals may register online as well as team members
- Team members should register online and select the TEAM name from the drop down box. A fundraising page will automatically be created for you once you register online!
- Registration fee is $30 online and $40 if you register in person, the day of the event
- Seek donations from friends, family, co-workers, employers & local businesses either through emails and the website or cash donations to be collected and turned in on Saturday, October 3rd.
- Encourage your teammates to fundraise as well
- Raise more than $50 and receive a Free T-shirt
- Raise more than $350 and receive a T-shirt and a CCF Recycle Bag
- Individuals who raise $500+ will earn a raffle ticket for a special prize drawing the day of the event!
